- Charlotte business consultant and author Chia-Li Chien is conducting a survey of business owners to identify statistical information of how business owners succeed in business, for her second book, which is scheduled to be published in early 2011.
There is no cost or compensation for the businesses to participate. The participant will receive a copy of the quarterly result from the study.
“I am conducting interviews and studies with business owners across the United States,” Chien said. “Each person I interview potentially will appear in my column at WomenEntrepreneurs.com or my next book. And, each business that participates will get invaluable feedback from me that could potentially help make change in their business.”
WomenEntrepreneur.com has 400,000 monthly viewers.
Specifically, Chien is seeking
* Business owners who have owned and operated their business for more than five years.
* Business owners who are the majority shareholder of the business legal entity.
* Business with more than five employees.
To participate, each business will need to secure the following from Chien’s website, www.chialichien.com:
*Sample Interview Release Form.
*Standard Interview Questions.
*Completion of both on-line assessments.
“If you fill out the assessments prior to the interview, I will use that time to provide an assessment reading and recommendation,” Chien said.
The interview for the study, which lasts one hour, is conducted over the telephone or via Skype. Businesses interested in participating should provide a telephone number or Skype account name.
