- WHAT: During the Spring 2011 semester, Concordia University Texas will host the “Conversations With…Speaker Series,” focusing on issues of importance to the greater Austin region. Prominent community leaders in industries such as education, technology and music, will engage in spirited dialogues with Dr. Donald Christian, Dean of the College of Business, about such topics as the music scene and its impact in Austin and the need for improved education.
WHO: Allyson Peerman is the vice president of public affairs at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).
Russell Bridges is the manager of government and community affairs at the 3M Corporation.
Ms. Peerman and Mr. Bridges will discuss the role of big business in the Greater Austin region.
