NAWBO Greater Raleigh Taps Italian Importer Extraordinaire, Susan Gravely, CEO of Vietri, Inc. To Present At October 26th Event
Triangle - Susan Gravely’s inspiring story of building her business and becoming the largest U.S. importer of exclusively Italian-designed dinner, table and housewares will inspire members and guests to let their passion fuel their dreams of success

With a theme of “How Passion and Vision can Create a Business Model That Keeps Growing “, the Greater Raleigh chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners welcomes Susan Gravely, CEO of Vietri, Inc. to share her story. Gravely, whose trip to Italy in 1983 with her mother and sister sparked a deep appreciation for the locally-crafted dinnerware pieces she discovered, ultimately became the impetus for her wildly successful business.

Lou Byrd, NAWBO Greater Raleigh’s president remarks, “Susan’s story is incredibly moving and I’m certain everyone in the room will be inspired by it. As business owners, sometimes we need to have our enthusiasm re-ignited because long days and daily chaos can make us question our mission. We are all looking forward to a memorable luncheon and taking away from it a few pearls of business wisdom from Susan.”

Event details:
When: Hotel Indigo 4925 Central Park Drive 27703, Durham, NC
Where: Wednesday, October 26, 2011
Fee: $30 for members and $40 for guests
Registration: http://www.nawbo-raleigh.org

Vietri works with manufacturers throughout Italy and sells to over 2000 specialty retailers across the United States, Canada and several other international locales. Gravely will discuss how you can leverage what you are most passionate about, transform that passion into a business and create a business model that is profitable and rewarding.

“It’s important to have presenters like Susan Gravely who can connect with our members and guests in a personal way. We’re excited about Susan’s presentation and our chapter will continue to provide value to members and guests by including inspiring business women in our program schedule.” Remarks Donna Cohen, Attorney at Law, NAWBO Greater Raleigh’s Director of Programs.
