PRStreet’s Graham Wilson Named 2009 Mover and Shaker

(Cary, NC) September 24, 2009—Graham H. Wilson, president and founder of PRStreet in Cary, has been named a 2009 Mover and Shaker in the Triangle by Business Leader Media.  The annual award, which honors business leaders in the Triangle community, is given to rising leaders within companies with more than 100 employees or C-level executives/partners leading rising companies with fewer than 100 employees.  The awards were announced at a ceremony on Monday evening September 21.  The winners will be featured in the September issue of Business Leader Magazine.

 

Wilson was selected based on the success of his company as well as his community involvement in the Triangle over the last 25 years.  He founded PRStreet in 1992 after 13 years as a television news reporter, anchor and producer, and four years as director of public affairs for the N.C. Department of Crime Control and Public Safety. In addition to his professional achievements, Graham is also involved in a wide number of community organizations. Graham has served or currently serves on a number of positions including Apex planning board, the Triangle United Way Campaign Cabinet, a member of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce communications committee, chairman of the college relations advisory committee for N.C. State University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and as a board member and Chairman of GRACE Christian School in Raleigh.
