Dr. Jennifer Greenfield Discusses Seasonal Affective Disorder
Triangle -

RALEIGH, N.C. – Center for Chiropractic & Wellness (www.carolinachirowellness.com), a chiropractic center with offices in North Raleigh and Cary, has announced that partner Dr. Jennifer Greenfield will speak at the Beating the Winter Blues event on Thursday, Dec. 3 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the North Regional Library.

The seminar will address Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), a disorder caused by shorter days, the lack of sunlight and colder temperatures that come with the winter season.   In her presentation, Dr. Greenfield will concentrate on the holistic approach to beating depression and overcoming SAD.

QUOTES:

“I look forward to speaking at the Beating the Winter Blues event,” said Dr. Greenfield.  “Many of us associate winter with the cheerful holiday season.  However, winter weather can have a severe affect on our mental and emotional health.  It is important to discuss this disorder and address ways in which people who are affected can prevent and overcome it.”
