- RALEIGH, N.C. – June 24,
2010 – 42nd St. Oyster Bar will host a beer dinner on Thursday, July 1 to celebrate
being the first restaurant to offer Carolina Brewing Company beer on tap 15
years ago. The dinner will feature Carolina Brewing Company beer.
The
dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will feature five different courses selected
by 42nd St.’s
Executive Chef David Greenwell. Each course will be carefully paired with a
different beer from the Carolina Brewing Company.
Tickets
are $59, inclusive of tax and gratuity, and must be purchased by Wednesday, June

The
Carolina Brewing Company will be releasing three different beers for its
anniversary: the Wiggo, Imperial Stout and Wigsout. Wigsout is a blend of Wiggo
and Imperial Stout and will be available in very limited quantities.
In
addition to the beer dinner, 42nd
St. will host the Carolina Brewing Company’s 15th
anniversary party Saturday, July 3 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The restaurant will
offer Carolina Brewing Company beers for a special price of $2.50.
All
of the beer at the Carolina Brewing Company is produced in small batches for
local distribution and can be found in grocery stores,
package stores, restaurants and bars around the greater Triangle area. The
brewery is located in Holly
Springs, N.C. and is open
to the public on Saturdays for tours and free sampling.
